Renovation of an educational facility in Greenwood, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of February 16th, 2022 all sub trades have been awarded. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or waive any informality or error in bidding for a period of 90 days from bid opening date. The Construction Manager for this project will be AECOM Hunt, 2450 South Tibbs Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46241. METHOD OF BIDDING All work for the complete construction of the Pleasant Grove Elementary School Phase 2 Renovation will be bid under six (6) separate prime contract bids, they are as follows: 1. Bid Package #1 General Trades Contractor 2. Bid Package #2 Mechanical, Plumbing & Fire Suppression Contractor 3. Bid Package #3 Electrical & Technology Contractor 4. Bid Package #4 - General LED Lighting Contractor 5. Bid Package #5 Classroom LED Tunable Lighting Contractor 6. Bid Package #6 Kitchen Equipment Contractor Bids shall be based on a stipulated sum basis in full accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by CSO Architects, 8831 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis, IN 46240. LEGALS PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF BIDS Bids shall be executed on State Form 96 and Supplementary Proposal Form included in the Project Manual. Bids shall be accompanied by AIA Document A305 Contractors Qualification statement. Bids shall be accompanied by Contractors Financial Statement specific enough and in such detail so that the Owner can make a proper determination of the Bidder capability for completing the project if awarded. A Bid security in the form of AIA Document A310, a certified check, Indiana General Revised Form No. 86, Contractors Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction or a form from an acceptable surety shall accompany each bid. Bids shall be accompanied by the Contract Responsibility Certification (reference specification section 00 21 00) Should Bidder withdraw his bid within 90 days from bid opening date without written consent of the Owner or fail to execute a satisfactory contract with the Owner, the Owner may declare the bid security forfeited as liquidated damages. Bonds shall remain in full force and effect for 12 months from date of acceptance of the work. Sub-bidders and suppliers are responsible for determining the drawing sheet numbers and spec division numbers needed. TIME OF COMPLETION Bidders shall state completion time along with their bid.
