Pre-Construction and Construction Phase Services TO: Prospective Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) Consultant Firms FROM: LaMotte School District No. 43 - 841 Bear Canyon Road, Bozeman, MT 59715 The procurement of CM/GC services by a qualified firm to participate in a collaborative process to assist in the finalization and development of the design; to provide value engineering; influence the methods and sequencing of the construction phase; and participate in the construction delivery of the LaMotte School Annex Replacement. The School District respectfully requests that interested firms submit written questions by 4:00 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021 to allow the questions and responses to be distributed to all interested firms. The design and construction of the Annex Replacement is to be funded by bond funds generated by the sale of bonds issued by the School District. The project has received approval from the voters for funding. The School District will administer all related contracts according to the terms and conditions of the award and applicable laws and guidelines. The CM/GC consultant will receive general instructions through the School District. The School District envisions the process for the development of the design and the delivery of the project to be a collaborative process in which the CM/GC will participate as a partner with the School District and the other members of the design and delivery team. The School District reserves the right not to select any of the firms who provide qualifications.
