As of August 16, 2023, the City of Waco is soliciting proposals for the construction of a new fire station located at Panther Way and Ritchie Road. The new station is an approximately 8,000 square-foot structure with three apparatus bays, individual sleeping quarters, and accommodations for up to eight fire personnel per shift. The station will feature jack-and-jill-style restroom facilities and private sleeping areas in the dormitory.
