The project consist of removing existing roof panels and replacing with new aluminum standing seam roof panels. Scope will include installation of spray foam insulation on the underside of the roof deck, and removal of the second floor ceiling grid, tile, and above ceiling insulation. Contractor to install new grid and ceiling tiles and reinstall existing lights and diffusers. General Contractor is to repoint masonry mortar, clean, and seal the exterior of the building. The Suretys Power of Attorney must accompany the bid bond. The bid bond and suretys Power of Attorney must both carry the same date which is no earlier than three (3) days prior to the scheduled bid opening date. If the selected bidder refuses or fails to execute and deliver the contract and bonds (payment and/or performance) required within 10 days after receiving notice of the acceptance of his bid, the bid security shall forfeit to the City as liquidated damages for such failure or refusal.
