As of June 23, 2022, a designer has been selected. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of Dubuque has an accepted offer to purchase the Webber Property, a 156 Acre farm, for industrial development as part of the Dubuque Industrial Center. The City of Dubuque, Iowa is seeking responses from industry leading, highly qualified professional consulting firms to work alongside the City to design and construct the project. The City also prefers that the Consultant be responsible for supervising any work that may be sub-contracted, including thirdparty inspection firms. Based on written recommendation and agreement between the Consultant and City, the City shall enter into sub-consultant contracts independent of this contract if required. After a professional services agreement is negotiated, the City anticipates the Consultant will immediately begin the design work and assist city staff preparation of bidding documents; assist the City through award phases, and, perform supervision of the work, as requested. This RFP is for the complete design of the Industrial Park with three development phases and multiple bid packages over the next 5 years. The City anticipates bidding the first phase of this project in April 2022 with a final project completion date of October 2022. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
