Renovation of a municipal facility in San Antonio, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Respondent must submit questions concerning this RFCSP through the CivCast website at https://www.civcastusa.com/bids until December 09, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. CT. Questions received after the stated deadline shall not be answered. The City of San Antonio (City), Public Works Department (PW)) is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) for qualified firms (Respondents) to provide construction services for the Tower of Americas Improvements (Project). The project consists of the renovation of the Tower of the Americas and other work indicated in the contract documents. The Project consists of repairs of the life & safety systems, stucco soffits components and replacement of crawl space walls at the Tower's top house, installation of emergency lighting inverters, and logistics required to achieve repairs, including repairs to the plumbing and mechanical support systems located at the utility chases and crawl spaces for the top-house of the Tower. It also includes architectural and structural repairs to the soffit and exterior finishes for underdeck areas of the top-house and repair of the concrete shaft. In the interior portion of the top house and bottom house the project will repair and renovate finishes damaged by water leaks. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
