Site work and paving for a road / highway in Clayton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Scope of Work consists of installing microsurfacing to existing pavement surface, including` streets in the Bemiston, Hanley Place, Skinker Heights, DeMun Park, and Hi-Pointe neighborhoods (One lift @ 18 LBs/SY). Note the alternate bids for concrete base repairs in city specified locations and reinforcing fiber additive. Additional pay items will include pavement markings and traffic control. Other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. In the event City facilities are closed due to COVID an addendum may be issued through the link above to establish virtual meetings for the pre-bid and bid opening. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the city.
