As of 4/20/22 all bids have been rejected due to them all being over budget. Unsure at this time if they plan to rebid again. As of 3/29/22 source decided to rebid this project. As of 1/19/22 per Cindy McCard they have no plans to rebid the project. All bids were rejected due to budget, unsure if/when they will rebid at this time. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after time has been called on the date of opening. A 5% bid bond is required. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right in its sole and complete discretion to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents. A brief description is as follows: 1. The removal of the existing 4-pipe hot-chilled water system including boiler, pumps, piping, fan coil units, domestic water heater, electrical power and controls. 2. Removal of existing fluorescent light fixtures. The existing chiller shall be abandoned in place. 3. Removal of existing acoustical ceiling tile ceilings. The existing gypsum board ceiling, where shown, shall remain, except where demolition of ceiling is indicated for removal of existing HVAC piping. 4. New HVAC systems and equipment shall be installed including but not limited to: VRF systems, bathroom exhaust systems, dedicated outside air system, etc. 5. New electrical work shall include but not be limited to: installation of new LED light fixtures shown, power to new and/or replaced HVAC equipment 6. New acoustical ceiling system shall be installed, where indicated, on the first, second and third floors. 7. Natural gas piping shall be extended.
