Renovation of an educational facility in Barnesville, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Per Cindy McCard no bids were received and at this time there is not plan to rebid. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after time has been called on the date of opening. A 5% bid bond is required. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right in its sole and complete discretion to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents. A brief description is as follows: 1. The complete removal of the existing 6 (2 sets of 3) gas fired furnaces, duct systems, gas vents, natural piping, electrical and controls serving the Aquatic center. 2. Installation of a double door to provide access for installation and maintenance to the new furnaces. 3. Installation of the new furnaces, gas piping, gas vent, new supply duct work, new controls, and electrical reconnections.
