Consultant will assist the MAPS Office in the development of a Master Plan for the MAPS 4 Neighborhood andCommunity Parks program, along with the design of Phase 1. The scope of work shall include, but not be limited to the following: o Develop a Master Plan for upgrades to 107 municipal neighborhood and community parks outside of the Central Business District. The Master Plan will identify a total of five phases of work totaling $47 Million for construction. The scope of the upgrades will be coordinated with the MAPS office and the Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department. o After approval of the Master Plan, consultant will provide design for Phases 1A and 1B. o Meet with City officials and neighborhood groups, including public meeting presentations. o Make presentations to the MAPS 4 Neighborhoods Subcommittee, MAPS 4 Citizens Advisory Board and City Council along with the various design review committees as established by ordinance. The estimated construction cost for Phase 1 is $8,808,400. Time Schedule for the above project: o Master Plan required within three hundred sixtyfive (365) days of award of contract. o Preliminary Design Report for Phase 1A required within sixty (60) days of the issuance of the Work Order after approval of the Master Plan. o Final Plans and Specifications for Phase 1A required within ninety (90) days of the issuance of the Work Order after approval of the Phase 1A Preliminary Design Report. o Preliminary Design Report for Phase 1B required within sixty (60) days of the issuance of the Work Order after completion of Phase 1A Final Plans and Specifications. o Final Plans and Specifications for Phase 1B required within ninety (90) days of the issuance of the Work Order after approval of the Phase 1B Preliminary Design Report. Answers to the questions will be posted on the OKC.gov website Public Works Department, Engineer and Architect Resources, by 10:00 a.m. December 22, 2021. Letter of Interest must provide your understanding of the project and scope of services; your approach and concept; designation of your Project Team and their detailed expertise and experience on similar projects,
and accessibility to City staff. The Consultant may not change the Project Team without prior consent of the City Engineer. Please provide a contact name and email address in your Letter of Interest. All contracts with the City or its related Trusts use this Contract. Please review the Contract and particularly the insurance and indemnity requirements will be met. Contract terms are nonegotiable. The City may negotiate Scope of Work, Compensation, and Additional Services. If the City or Trust determines, in its sole discretion, the City or Trust is not able to timely negotiate an acceptable Scope of Work, Compensation, and Additional Services with the selected Consultant, then the City or Trust may terminate such negotiations and commence negotiation with another Consultant. Please include a 254 Form with your Letter of Interest The City and its Trusts reserve the right to award the Contract(s) or not and to revise the Scope of Services and/or the Project scope or description, as may be in the best interest of the City or Trust.
