UP-454.2 HVAC Construction $640,000.00 UP-454.4 ELECTRICAL Construction $100,000.00 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT VALUE: $740,000.00 Slippery Rock University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites HVAC and Electrical Contractors, to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this project consists of replacement of the existing gas fired furnaces, cooling coils and condensing units for the Rock Apartments. The Johnson Control System work will be performed by O.Z. Enterprises under a separate contract directly with the University. Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the Mechanical Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 01 31 00, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents. The University plans to have all of the furnaces replaced in all of the buildings during the summer months of 2022. The contractors shall figure in their bid the costs of splitting the work between the two construction periods. If the University approves and the Mechanical and Electrical Contractors are able, all of the work may be performed over the 2022 Summer construction period.
