Renovation of an educational facility in Covington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,000-square-foot educational facility.
The project consist of the reconfiguration of approximately 4,000 square feet of space on the 1st floor of the Marx building located at 516 Madison Avenue in Covington Kentucky. The Marx Building was completely renovated in 2015. When complete the renovated space will house 2 classrooms, 2 labs and a tank storage area. Estimate: $493,900.00 Estimated Length of Project: 180 (Substantial Completion) + 30 (Final Completion) All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served.
