El Dorado Irrigation District is seeking bids for Asphalt Patch Paving. The following professional services is to be performed during a twelve (12) month period with the option to extend for two additional one year periods. The construction work to be rendered ("Work") consists of approximately 126,000 square feet of asphalt patch paving, 10,000 square feet of slurry sealing, 20,000 linear feet of saw cutting and 2,500 linear feet of traffic line painting and 126,000 square feet of Grinding/Cold Planing to be performed within the period of twelve (12) months. Question and Answer Period Wednesday, December 8, 2021 through Monday, December 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Bidders must submit with their Bids either cash, a cashier's check, or certified check from a responsible bank in the United States, or corporate surety bond furnished by a surety authorized to do business in the State of California, of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of Bid (excluding alternates, if any), payable to the District. The period of performance for this Agreement shall be for twelve months. The term shall commence upon the earlier of either: (1) March 1, 2022; or (2) upon the District's first request for as-needed services The District specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, or re-Bids, or to waive inconsequential deviations from Bid requirements not involving time, price, or quality of the Work.
