County is seeking Proposals from qualified hazardous waste management companies to provide support for segregating, packaging, profiling, manifesting, transporting, and disposing of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) as well as staffing collection events with qualified personnel for the County's Consumer and Environmental Protection Agency, Household Hazardous Waste Program. The County of Santa Clara (County) is seeking Proposals from qualified hazardous waste management companies to provide support for segregating, packaging, profiling, manifesting,transporting, and disposing of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) as well as staffing collection events with qualified personnel for the County's Consumer and Environmental Protection Agency, Household Hazardous Waste Division. Hazardous waste management services to be performed under an agreement awarded pursuant to this request for proposal (RFP) will begin July 1, 2022.This RFP may result in a single award or multiple awards. It is the County's intent to award a contract with an initial term of three (3) years with an option for the County to renew for two (2)additional one-year terms, for a maximum of five (5) years, unless terminated earlier or otherwise amended.
