Renovation of an educational facility in Olympia, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of February 11, 2022, the project was awarded to Betschart Mechanical, Inc for $483,500. The start date is 5/1/2022 and completion date is 8/12/2022. Demolish two existing gas fired fire tube boilers and one air cooled chiller along with associated piping, electrical work, and Energy Management System work. Provide two new gas fired condensing boilers with associated flues and one new air cooled chiller. Connect to existing piping systems. Provide new/revised electrical power circuits to serve new equipment. Provide new/revised Energy Management System work by ATS. Provide insulation for new piping. Engineer's estimate is $570,000. A certified check or bank cashier's check or bid bond executed by a State licensed surety company made payable to Tumwater School District is required with each bid, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, if any. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all Bids for any reason and, in particular, to reject a Bid not accompanied by any required bid security or data required by the Bidding Documents or a Bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
