Bids for the Visitors Bleachers Renovation project - Repair of the existing visitors' bleachers by removing deteriorated concrete, preparing the surface of the concrete for the repair, placing new concrete including finishing, and installing new railing and guardrails, and exterior painting of the structure Project Location:500 Hoover Ave, DuBois, PA 15801 all concrete repair is limited to the tiered surface and exterior walls. treatment of the underside of the concrete structure is not included in scope of work. o remove all areas of unsound concrete and repair by using new concrete. rebuild the aisles steps. o remove all guardrails and replace with code compliant guardrails and handrails. o reinstall existing aluminum seats with brackets o removal of all enclosure elements of the space underneath except for the electrical room will be performed by the owner. o according to iebc 2015, this is categorized as repair only, there is no change in occupancy, in occupancy load or egress, there are no ada requirements Separate bids will be required on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: 06 00 00 - General Construction All bidders must submit a bid bond. Performance, Labor and Material Payment and Maintenance Bonds are required for this project. DuBois Area School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive irregularities in the bids.
