Answers posted on Colorado VSS 12/29/2021 5:00pm Ute Indian Museum proposes a Naturescape Park that has both play and educational components for a multigenerational audience. The completed project will serve both the community and the museum. The Naturescape Park area, will sit on 2/3 acre of the museum's 8.65-acre property. A natural playground will provide public access to a space for kids and families to connect to the Native American belief of working with and respecting Mother Nature. In addition, a simulated interactive archeological site will be constructed as an educational resource to allow the museum staff the opportunity to teach about historic preservation and the museum's partners a training tool for people learning how to perform fieldwork. Access to the park will be via the preexisting road base path from the museum, a link to the existing bike path west of the site and a crusher fines pathway connecting to the parking lot. Full Notice to Bidders, Electronic Plans are included in the bid package. Additional questions regarding the project must be posted to the state bid site by December 20.
