Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Montrose, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Montrose County is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consultants to design and prepare construction plans and specifications for two (2) bridge replacement projects. The existing bridges are located on Ranger Road over the Montrose-Delta Canal. Award may be made to the responsive, responsible consultant meeting applicable county and state procurement requirements. In reviewing the proposals received, the County reserves the right to reject, for any reason whatsoever, any and all proposals, and to waive any informality or irregularity in a proposal. The County reserves the right to accept the proposal that provides the best value to the County in the Countys sole discretion. The County reserves the right to make a determination in the Countys sole discretion as to the sufficiency of qualifications of any proposer. The action to award a contract is subject to approval by the Board of County Commissioners. The submission of a proposal does not in any way commit the County to enter into an agreement or contract with that proposer. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
