Renovation of an educational facility in Harrison, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
SUNY Purchase College will receive sealed bids from qualified theater specialists for upgrading the existing fire curtain safety systems in three theaters in the Performing Arts Center. All work is to be completed within 90 days of contract award. COVID Requirement: If you would like to participate in the non-mandatory pre-bid conference, you must contact Sean Connolly, Associate Director, Capital Facilities Planning (email Sean.connolly@purchase.edu) no later than Tuesday, December 14th, by 2:00 pm in order to receive the required COVID-19 release to come to campus. In compliance with the Procurement Lobbying Act signed into law by Governor Pataki in August 2005, and effective January 1, 2006, permissible contact by an Offeror in relation to any specific procurements in excess of $15,000 should be made only with authorized personnel of SUNY Purchase who are designated as the contact person(s), i.e. the Designated Contacts. For this procurement, those contact person(s) shall be: Technical contact shall be Sean Connolly, Associate Director, Capital Facilities Planning (tel 914-251-5916, fax 914-251-6063, email sean.connolly@purchase.edu), Primary contact shall be Sheli Taylor, Associate Director, Contract and Procurement Services (tel 914-251-6089, fax 914-251-6075, e-mail sheli.taylor@purchase.edu). Secondary contact will be Elizabeth Pleva, Director of Procurement & Accounts Payable (tel 914-251- 6070, fax 914-251-6075, e-mail elizabeth.pleva@purchase.edu). until final contract approval by SUNY Purchase College. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.All questions must be submitted in writing to Sean Connolly, Associate Director, Capital Facilities Planning, via email at sean.connolly@purchase.edu no later than close of business, February 10, 2022. The following work & requirements are to include, but not be limited to; - Verification of existing field conditions, sizes and dimensions of systems' components. - Demolition and removal of components of existing fire safety curtain systems - as indicated on the drawings/specs. - Reutilizations of components where indicated on the drawings/specs. - Furnishing & installing new components as indicated on the drawings/specs. - Upgrades to the curtains from manual to traction assist motorized drives and controls. - All testing and training as indicated in the drawings/specs.
