Project Scope To clear the area of the proposed new 12 foot tall barb wire on top of the existing fence of any brush or tree limbs. Add 12 foot height to the existing 5 foot fence along Hwy 216, using 3 strands of barb wire per plans and specifications. Install new 6 foot tall chain link fence per ODOT specifications. New fence to continue from each end of existing and run back into the trees. This Work consists of constructing Fences, gates, and gateways of barbed wire, woven wire fabric, chain link fabric, or combinations, to the lines and grades shown or directed. Protective fences, on and off Structure as shown or directed. All dimensions shown on the Plans are horizontal and vertical measurement. Actual quantities required for the installation may be greater depending on the Slope of the terrain. Work covered by this contract includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and permits to add 12'' height to the existing fence along Hwy 216, using 3 strands of barb wire per plans and specifications. Install new 6' tall chain link fence per ODOT specifications. New fence to continue from each end of existing and run back into the trees (Approx 200' - Verify onsite today). b. Color of new chain link fencing, posts, and hardware to match existing (Black). Strands of barb wire can be standard grey galvanized finish. However, any hardware and new posts associated with the security wire should be black to match existing. c. GENERAL: Contractor shall be responsible for removal of existing vegetation and or materials in the path of the new fence as per specifications and installation of a new chain link fence.
