Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Broadway, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.
**As of March 14, 2022 .Town Council has decided not to award a contract for the project at this time since the cost provided in the proposals was well above the anticipated budget amount. No plans to rebid.** The project will consist of the design and remodel of the unfinished portion of the current building so that the space is incorporated into the finished office area. Contractor will submit a proposal that utilizes a design that makes efficient use of the area available. New components that shall be included during the remodel are a conference room, an evidence preparation area, a secure evidence storage area, 2 additional officer work stations and new commercial grade/high traffic flooring throughout the building A proposer may submit a written request to the Town of Timberville for an interpretation or clarification of, or addenda to this RFP. The request must be e-mailed to townmanager@townoftimberville.com. The Town of Timberville reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals submitted in response to the RFP or refuse to enter into a contract resulting from any proposal submitted, without expense to the town.
