This bid is for qualified vendor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to modify two existing stormwater manholes per the plans attached. All work must be constructed in strict accordance with the design plans and the CRMC permit. Bid Security, in the form identified within the Standard Instructions to Bidders, and in the amount of five (5) percent of the total Bid amount, must accompany each Bid. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, in the specific formats as attached herein, both for the full value of the Bid Price, along with all required insurance certificates, within fifteen (15) calendar days after the award date in order to execute a Contract. Bidders are advised that this is a Prevailing Wage Rate project. The successful Bidder must submit Weekly Certified Payroll Reports, using applicable Federal (US Department of Labor) forms (included in the contract documents, as this project is being funded through RIEMA PreDisaster Mitigation Grant Program (PDM) Grant. The current wage rate decision is included within the contract documents. The rates will be checked ten (10) days prior to the Bid Date and, if modified, the new rates will apply. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bid. The Town of Narragansett reserves the right to reject any/all bids, waive any informalities in the bids received and to accept and award the bid to the lowest qualified bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the Town of Narragansett.
