Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Breaks, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Project is consists of the renovations of the following: The Ben Chafin Lodge, Phase I include complete guestroom renovations in the Catawba Lodge. These renovations include complete refurbishment of the bathrooms including new fixtures, finishes, and lighting. The sleeping areas will have new gypsum wallboard installed to overlay existing wood paneling, new flooring, new paint, new lighting, and HVAC units. Additionally, two guestrooms will have their bathrooms upgraded to accessibility standards. Exterior renovations to the Catawba, Dogwood, Golden Rod, Hemlock, and Redbud Lodges include repainting of previously painted exposed steel framing, steel stairs, guardrails and railings, and painting of all wood siding, trim, soffits, and each level of balcony ceilings. Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia ( 2.2-4330). Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding. The Owner does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 2.2-4343.1.
