Bids will be received for the following categories of work: Roof Replacement on existing building per Contract Documents Note: Under a separate contract and package scheduled for the same time period, the existing Roof-top Units (RTUs) are proposed for replacement and must be a coordinated effort with the selected contractors of each discipline. A Pre-Construction meeting will be scheduled between selected parties, to determine sequences and schedules. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner, Clinton County Board, in the amount of 5 percent of the Base Bid, shall accompany each Bid as a guarantee. If for any reason, the awarded Bidder cannot execute the Work outlined in these Contract Documents, this Bidder shall forfeit the Bid deposit or the amount of the Base Bid to the Owner as liquidated damages. The Contractor to whom award shall be made pursuant to this contract shall be subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Contractor awarded this contract shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds covering the faithful performance of the contract and payment obligations arising thereunder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or to accept any Bid which in their judgement of the Owner may be the most advantageous to them. No Bids may be withdrawn after the opening of Bids, without the consent of the Owner, for a period of sixty (60) days thereafter.
