Commissary Building - Removal of the existing fully adhered black EPDM membrane and tapered insulation roofing system down the existing 2" concrete plank deck. Roof replacement will consist of a Modified SBS membrane system over an insulated concrete tapered insulation system. Demolition and existing concrete plank deck infill will be required at the existing chimney, and other abandoned HVAC openings which are no longer required. Raising of the existing roof edge parapet will be required to accommodate the tapered insulation system. A new coping and roof edge metal system will be installed to complete the watertight system. Littlepage Dining Hall - Removal of the existing fully adhered black EPDM and tapered insulation roofing system down the existing concrete deck. Prior to the main roof removal, demolition of the existing louvered penthouse will be required. A temporary enclosure to protect the open roof area is specified to prevent water intrusion. Upon completion of the penthouse demolition installation of the new penthouse can proceed including General construction, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. After installation of the new penthouse is complete re-roofing off the main roof can proceed. Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. The original bid package is to be mailed to the campus after the electronic version is submitted. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
