Counties: Broward, Miami-dade, Palm Beach, Turnpike Road Name: Sign Structure & Concrete Maintenance - Zone 1 Limits: Midpoint Project(S): 40456827205(*) Federal Aid No: N/a Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/a Aquis/flexible Start Time: 14 The work specified in this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform maintenance, repair and/or replacement of miscellaneous concrete roadway components, such as but not limited to: concrete roadway pavement, concrete barrier wall, curb and gutter, ditch, grout pads, and reinforced or mechanically stabilized earth walls and other structures, and maintenance of structural components on sign structures and high mast light towers such as bolts, washers, and nuts, bolt assemblies, cleaning and spot painting of sign structures, at various locations on the Homestead Extension Florida's Turnpike, Milepost (MP) 0.0 to 46.5, Florida's Turnpike, MP 0.0X to 100.0 and Sawgrass Expressway, MP 0.0 to 22.5. Prior to beginning work under this Contract, the Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for approval, two copies of the Contractor's proposed plan and methods for performing the work, including a listing of equipment and personnel anticipated for use. No U-turns shall be permitted as a condition of this Contract, except at Service Plazas For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
