The scope of work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, tank inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, certifications, visual and non-destructive testing in accordance with requirements of Steel Tank Institute (STI) standard SP001, Breach of Integrity Testing, and replacement of any equipment and parts associated with fuel storage systems, including, fuel pumps, tanks, plumbing, electrical and any other ancillary systems and structures. Contractor will be responsible for scheduling and tracking inspections and certifications including the Veeder-Root and other similar fuel tank monitoring systems, leak detection testing and all others as required by local, state and federal regulations. Repair, troubleshooting and other services requested outside of yearly certifications, as authorized by the Contract Administrator or designee, shall be performed by the Contractor as either a non-emergency service call or emergency service call. Deadline for Questions Day/Date: Friday, February 4th, 2022 Time: 12:00pm The initial contract period shall be for three (3) years, commencing on the date of award or the date this contract is executed by both parties, whichever is later. In addition, the City reserves the right to renew the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, providing all terms conditions and specifications remain the same, both parties agree to the extension, and such extension is approved by the City, contingent upon budget approval. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in bids received, to accept any item or group of items, unless qualified by the Bidder. The City reserves the right before recommending any award to inspect the Bidders' facilities or take any other action necessary to determine a Bidder's ability to perform in accordance with the specification, terms and conditions of the Invitation for Bid.
