Site work for a water / sewer project in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Lawrence invites contractors interested in furnishing and installing water and sewer main in the West Street area, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid forms and contract documents are available for review at City of Lawrence Water & Sewer Department - 200 Common Street, Room 204, Lawrence, MA 01840 during normal business hours. This Contract is being Bid under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M. The Owner may waive any informalities or minor defects, or reject any or all Bids, if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so. The Work consists of replacing approximately 1900 feet of existing 12, 18 and 36 inch clay gravity sanitary sewer pipe with PVC sewer pipe, furnishing and installing approximately 100- 6"-inch sanitary sewer services and the removing and replacing of 14 sanitary sewer manholes and appurtenances, and the removing and replacing of 21 catch basins and existing catch basin piping as specified, in the West Street area. The work includes the furnishing and installing of approximately 625 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main and water services and appurtenances to from a complete system on Willoughby Street and Broadway Avenue.
