Renovation of an educational facility in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Replacement of gymnasium bleachers at the North Common Education Complex. Work includes removal of old and replace with new bleachers provided by owner. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. All bids submitted in response to this Invitation for Bids must be accompanied with a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid price. Bids will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established under M.G.L. c. 149. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates and OSHA Certifications. The City of Lawrence reserves the right to reject any or all bids or take whatever action is in the best interest of the City. SCOPE Project includes the removal and disposal of existing bleachers and installation of (1) 8 tier x 81' - O" (free standing), (1) 8 tier x 33' - O" (wall attached), and (1) 8 tier x 39' - O" (wall attached) Hussey Maxam Bleachers. Questions concerning this IFB must ONLY be submitted in writing to Walter Callahan, Lawrence Public School's Procurement Director, before 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Questions may be mailed, delivered, faxed to 978-722-8545 or emailed to walter.callahan@lawrence.k12.ma.us. Written responses will be emailed to all bidders on record as having received the IFB package.
