The City of Topeka is requesting bids for a formal construction project to replace approximately 480 feet of failing vitrified clay storm sewer pipe, and associated structures, and replace with 15" reinforced concrete pipe. 1 contractor construction staking 2 removal of existing structures 3 curb inlet, type i, 4 curb inlet, type i, 5 4 ft dia. standard manhole, 6 remove and replace 8" asphalt pavement 7 remove and replace concrete curb & gutter, type ii 8 6" aggregate base (ab-3) 9 flowable fill 13 10 15" storm sewer (rcp) 11 temorary traffic control 12 permanent seeding and mulching 1 ls $ - 13 relocate water service 1 each $ - 14 curb inlet protection Remove and replace Type I Curb Inlets and reinforced concrete pipe under SW Harland Ct. between SW Collins Ave. and SW Campbell Ave. All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas Bid Bond Required: Yes Q And A Open12/11/2021 3:31:00 AM Q And A Close1/10/2022 11:30:00 PM The Work will be substantially completed within 40 days, Final Completion in accordance with the General Conditions within 7 days from the date when Substantial Completion is certified by the Engineer 9% minority and 6.9% female.
