All work shall be completed within Three-Hundred and Sixty-Five (365) calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Project Magnitude Range: $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction / SBA Size Standard: $39.5MIL This procurement is a 100% set-aside for CVE verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Firms (SDVOSB) per the authority 38 U.S.C. 8127 (Public Law 109-461). In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, and prior to award of any contract, the bidder must represent to the CO that it is: (1) an SDVOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819-70; (2) a Small Business concern under the NAICS assigned to this acquisition; and (3) an SDVOSB listed as verified in the VIP database at: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. the project renovates approximately 10,096 square feet of existing fourth floor interior space for inpatient mental health services. project constructs a new layout and renovation for approximately 10,096 gross square feet (gsf) of locked inpatient mental health space, with the goal of promoting a safe and recovery-oriented environment. the project creates a non-institutional, home like environment while implementing safety and anti-ligature features. to serve these objectives, the project guts and renovates building 131 unit 4a. the new design provides 16 new patient beds, distributed as 4 double patient rooms and 8 single patient rooms. this project also provides seclusion room, dining/group room, day room, consult/family room, and quiet room. staff support spaces include conference/team room, clean utility, and soiled utility. treatment rooms include exam, interview/triage, and meds/nourishment rooms. this project furnishes appropriate new building utility infrastructure to accommodate inpatient and clinical needs. this project also includes replacing the existing mechanical air handler serving 4a, 3a, and 2a.
