Sealed bids will be received by PEORIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS hereinafter known as the Owner, for the RICHWOODS HIGH SCHOOL POOL FILTRATION SYSTEM project. All bidders are hereby advised that they must be able to submit, if requested by the Owner, an Illinois Department of Public Health Pre-qualification Statement for this Project prior to opening of Bids. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents of bidder to submit Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft in amount to cover proposal(s) being bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Checks or drafts of unsuccessful Bidders will be returned as soon as practical, after opening and checking the bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Project scope: 1. Remove existing filter, pump and chemical treatment systems. 2. Installation of new pool recirculation pump, filter, chemical Treatment systems, surge tank, and associated piping. Examination of Specifications Contractors are required to adhere to the enclosed specifications and drawings. Each contractor shall acquaint him or herself with the conditions as they exist so that the vendor may be completely familiar with the conditions pertinent to the fulfillment of the work required under this contract.
