All questions regarding this bid should be submitted in writing to Libby Rush at libby.rush@highpointnc.gov by 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, as may in the judgment of the Council of the City of High Point, serve its best interest and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted. The Contractor shall have 120 calendar days from the Contractor's receipt from the Architect/Engineer or the City of a written Notice to Proceed to achieve final completion of the Work. All bidders are invited to visit the treatment facility to obtain samples of the sludge basin contents, observe local site conditions, etc. The on-site contact is Mr. Rodney Darr, Plant Superintendent, (336) 822-7991. Failure to visit the Ward site or the City's designated disposal shall not relieve the Contractor of his obligations under this Contract.
