The scope of this project will be to act as Construction Manager (CM) to aid in the review of construction documents, specifications, and permit applications as well as act as the owners representative for construction oversight for the Petrifying Springs Park Pike River Streambank Restoration Phase III project. Petrifying Springs Park (5555 7th St., Kenosha WI 53144) is a 350-acre Kenosha County Park with a blend of both manicured and natural areas consisting of an 18-hole golf course, reservable pavilions, restroom facilities, playgrounds, softball field, soccer field, dog park, biergarten, volleyball courts, environmentally sensitive natural areas, Pike River, 4.6 miles of hiking trails, and 2.3 miles of paved multi-use trails. With the continuous and year-round use of the amenities, the park has seen a considerable increase in attendance with over 1.4 million visitors projected in 2021. The scope of this project will include CM oversight of the design and construction of approximately 2,600 linear feet of streambank restoration utilizing similar techniques within Phase I and Phase II restoration projects. The County reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to select the vendor considered by the County to be most advantageous. Kenosha County reserves the right to request additional information, the right to clarify responses, the right to award a contract for only some but not all of the articles or items in the solicitation, and the right to waive minor irregularities. The County of Kenosha does not warrant or guarantee that a contract will be awarded as a result of this Request for Proposal.
