Site work for a water / sewer project in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be bid is generally described as follows: 2,100 L.F. - 10 Dia. Ductile Iron Water Main with accessories Only pre-qualified bidders are allowed to participate in this project. Please contact Engineer prior to bid date for instructions on becoming pre-qualified. Any bid submitted by a bidder who is not pre-qualified will not be accepted. All pre-qualification documentation shall be submitted to Engineer prior to noon Thursday December 16th at the address listed above. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Shelbyville Municipal Water and Sewer Commission in an amount of not less than 10 percent of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 90 days after the day bids are opened. A bidder may, however, withdraw his bid at any time prior to the time and date scheduled for opening of same or any authorized postponement thereof Time allowed for the completion of the project is 90 consecutive calendar days. Project estimate is anywhere from $500,000 to 1,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
