(Pages 22-58) Recommendation: Adopt Resolution -2022 authorizing the City Manager to award a construction contract to Lorang Brothers Construction, Inc. in the amount of $449,500 with a 15% contingency in an amount not to exceed $516,925 for the Lift Station 5 Force Main Improvement Project. _________________________________________ The City of Colfax, California, will receive bids for the Lift Station 5 Force Main Improvements Project located in the City of Colfax, Placer County, California The work in general consists of installing inspection vaults including cleanouts and pressure gauges on the existing force main, installing two new air/vacuum release valves, replacing a 90-degree bend with (2) 45-degree bends, installing a pressure transmitter in the existing dry well and run wiring to the LS-5 control panel, trenching and pavement patching, SCADA programming, and such other items of work as are required to complete the project The contractor shall possess a Class C-34 license at the time the contract is awarded.
