Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kingsland, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.

As of January 26 , 2022. The project has been awarded with the amount $115,266.70. The project consists of the following generally described work: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and appurtenances to reconstruct approximately 2500 SY of graded aggregate base and pavement to provide an additional 1500 LF of vehicle storage for student drop off and pick up. Construction includes removal of 120 SY of existing base and pavement and construction of a 12 FT wide storage lane from Keith Dixon Way to the existing storage lane near Southeast Community Church. Construction also includes miscellaneous grading, erosion and sediment control, striping and testing. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of "Best's Key Rating Guide Property Liability." Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond. No pre-bid conference is scheduled; however, all respondents are encouraged to perform a site visit and submit all questions by email to Robbie Cheek at cheek.r@tandh.com on or before 5 PM, January 10th, 2022. No questions will be accepted after that time and date. A written response will be provided to all package holders on January 11th, 2022.
