The work will include, but not be limited to replacement of twenty-eight (28) heat pumps and associated piping, pumps and out-door fluid cooler, associated minor architectural, electrical, and structural work, as well as r.eftirbishment of six (6) exterior doors. The cost range is $2,100,000 to $2,400,000. Structural: o Enlargement or modification of housekeeping pads to suit the new mechanical equipment. o Anchorage of new mechanical equipment. o New exterior pad and piping supports for outdoor equipment. Mechanical: o Replacement of twenty-eight (28) existing water-source heat pumps. o Replacement of associated piping and two hydronic pumps. o Replacement of the existing outdoor fluid cooler. o Limited replacement of existing ductwork. o Updating of existing controls, including replacement of thermostats. o Related demolition and removal of the existing equipment. Electrical: o Replacement of branch circuitry and controls wiring serving affected mechanical equipment. o Installation of variable frequency drives (VFDs) for replaced pumps. o Related demolition and removal of the existing equipment. Architectural: o Refurbishment of six (6) existing exterior doors, including replacement of hardware. o Removal and reinstallation of existing ceilings as required for replacement of mechanical piping and ductwork. o Replacement of screening around the outdoor fluid cooler.
