CITY OF TEMPE, ARIZONA ENGINEERING AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT DIVISION OF ENGINEERING NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Pavement Preservation-FY 22-Group 2 The proposed work will consist of MILLING AND REPLACING EXISTING ASPHALT PAVEMENT WITH AN ASPHALTIC RUBBERIZED ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT; SIDEWALKS, CURBS AND GUTTER WILL BE RECONSTRUCTED; ADA RAMPS WILL BE UPGRADED TO STANDARD; DRAINAGE STRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS WILL INCLUDE MANHOLE ADJUSTMENTS AND RECONSTRUCTION OF CATCH BASIN; RESTORE EXISTING PAVEMENT MARKINGS AS WELL AS NEW INSTALLATIONS, together with associated work. This project seeks to extend the useful life of the street corridors by milling existing asphalt and replacing with an asphaltic rubberized asphalt concrete (ARAC) pavement; replacing damaged concrete items including sidewalks, curbs, gutters and upgrading sidewalk ramps to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards; adjusting and upgrading drainage structures; new installation and restoration of existing pavement markings; and other features impacted by this project.
