Site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Wichita, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
Performance Bond Forms, included in the bid package are to be used, in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract must be furnished by the successful vendor. Labor & Material Payment Bond Forms, included in the bid package are to be used, running to the State of Kansas in a sum of not less than the total of the contract, must be furnished by the successful vendor The project is being assisted with Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Contractor compliance with all regulations, rules and conditions is required. Attention is particularly called to the requirements of compliance with all requirements of compliance with all requirements of: 1. Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Federal Wage Decision. 2. Assurance of Compliance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended. 3. The City of Wichita will take affirmative steps to provide technical assistance to all enterprises during the pre-bid conference to encourage MBE/WBE participation.
