On-Call Painting of Vacated Apartment Units, Various Federal and State Projects in Springfield, MA for a Two Year Period. The SHA will award a two-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a not to exceed amount of $150,000.00. At the SHA's sole discretion the contract can be extended for one additional year. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond, issued by a responsible Surety Company licensed to do business in Massachusetts, or cash, or certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, and payable to the SHA by Bidders for contract in the amount of 5% of the not to exceed bid price of $150,000.00. Each bid shall be accompanied by: HUD 5370-EZ, Representations, Certifications, and Other Statements of Bidders, Non-Collusive Affidavit, Certificate of Corporate Clerk, Certificate of Tax Compliance (REAP). Bids should be prepared in accordance with the instructions within the IFB package. The SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, to waive informalities or irregularities in bids and make awards deemed in the best interest of the SHA and the public. Award of a contract is subject to review and approval by the Springfield Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. For Questions please email John Healy at procurement@shamass.org
