Site work and paving for a road / highway in Summerfield, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Marion County Office of the County Engineer is seeking qualified bidders to overlay the existing pavement, construct side street and driveway aprons, sod shoulders, and re-stripe the pavement markings. Bid Bond: 5% Last Day for Questions: will be on, Friday, February 18, 2022 at Noon. All questions pertaining to the intent of the plans, bid documents, and Contract Documents must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Services Department - delia.frosolono@marionfl.org or procurement@marionfl.org - Attn: Delia Frosolono. Resurfacing project we're resurfacing existing roads and reconstruct driveway and side aprons, re-sod, and restripe. An addendum will be released showing some corrections on the pipe extensions. There will not be any allowance for the increase of liquid asphalt. Doesn't meet DOT requirements for that. The outside of the typical overlay will be at the intersection at SE 150th turns into SE 25th, there is a 90* turn there, keeping typical crosssection slop but we may have to adjust the outside lane to tie into the side road. As Builts will be required on pipe work and extensions and several survey monuments in the roadway that need to be reset. Not concerned with As-Builts on the entire road, just the monuments and pipe extensions.
