Reference number : 1553149 Review Title : Performance contract on request - Floor covering work Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2021-12-28 Electronic submission accepted: Yes, in a single submission document The École de technologie supérieure with its head office at 1100 rue Notre-Dame Ouest, Montreal (hereinafter Owner), requests Bids in order to award a performance contract on demand for flooring work. whose approximate monetary value is estimated at five hundred thousand dollars ($ 500,000). This work is required to meet the needs of the Owner's redevelopment, renovation and asset maintenance and will be carried out in the various buildings on its campus located in Montreal in the quadrilateral of Ottawa, de la Montagne, St-Jacques and Montfort streets. Work could also be carried out in other premises located nearby. The buildings where the work is carried out remain in operation during the work. Contract length The start of the Contract is January 24, 2022. The Contract will be valid for a maximum period of three (3) years. However, the Owner reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate the Contract as soon as the amount of the work carried out reaches the Contract Value, regardless of the time elapsed between the start of the Contract and that moment. Bid guarantee The Bidder must provide with its Bid, a bid security of ten thousand dollars ($ 10,000). The tender guarantee is made in the form of a bond issued by a financial institution, a money order or certified check payable to the order of the École de technologie supérieure. The bid security must be valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the deadline for receipt of Bids. Performance guarantee and guarantee of the contractor's obligations for pledges, materials and services The performance guarantee and the guarantee of the contractor's obligations for wages, materials and services in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($ 10,000) each are in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution and must comply with the requirements of the Appendices. 2 and 3 of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies. The performance guarantee and the guarantee of the contractor's obligations for pledges, materials and services will remain in force throughout the duration of the Contract. Where applicable, the Contractor must provide proof of the renewal of these guarantees before their expiration, for the entire duration of the Contract. No verbal information is binding on the Owner and may not be interpreted as modifying the Tender Documents. The École de technologie supérieure will be closed from December 23, 2021 to January 4, 2022. Inquiries during this period will be answered upon return. If the Tenderer must send his Submission on paper, he must make an appointment to come and submit his Submission. Appointments for the transmission of a paper Submission can be obtained by writing to: submissions@etsmtl.ca no later than 72 hours before the opening of the Submissions. Bidders should take note that appointments will be given during limited time slots. The Tenderer must transmit his Submission electronically via website or by courier, by regular mail or in person to the civic address and the premises mentioned above. Fax or e-mail are not acceptable modes of transmission. Any Submission that does not meet the conditions set out above will be automatically rejected. Contrary to what is provided for in the last paragraph of article 1.8, the Owner will reject any Submission which is not received by the date and time mentioned above for the presentation of the Submissions at the latest. In addition, the Owner is not responsible for delays inherent in the electronic transmission of Bids via SÉAO or in the internal transmission of any paper-based shipment that is not received directly at the Procurement Department.
