Hobble Creek Riverwalk Trail Design/Build Landscaping Project Roads and landscape material including asphalts and road and railroad construction materials and soil stabilizers and artificial turf and construction aggregates including rock, gravel, and sand Nonresidential building construction services including commercial and office building new construction services and construction services and renovation and repair services Question Submission Close Date 1/26/2022 10:00 AM MST a. Trail is to be located within the 100 South public right-of-way on the east side of Hobble Creek from the creek to the private property lines. The trail will eventually connect into the City Contractor's Park on the west side of 100 East. b. The project budget is $200K c. The Contractor is to provide the City with design/build construction services for the construction of a walkway/recreational trail and landscaping project. Contractor is required to secure any and all required permits to complete the project. Including local grading permit (SWPPP-erosion control). d. Turn the roadway into a beautifully landscaped walkway/recreational trail that can be accomplished within the proposed budget. Contractor is responsible to provide the City with their proposed trail concept design in the space specified in this RFP document and as shown in Exhibit A. Using their expertise and experience, Contractor will be responsible to present a landscaping plan to the City and provide landscaping construction for the project that will work with their proposed trail design/construction. e. The design/build project is located in a FEMA designated floodway i. The project needs to be designed and built in such a way that does not require stream alterations and does not make changes to the FEMA map, and ii. The project may require coordination with FEMA. It is the desire of the City to stay out of the water and to not disturb the creek bank. f. Contractor is responsible to provide a grading plan, vegetation plan and erosion control g. Contractor is responsible for utility coordination h. Contractor is required to provide civil engineering plans (if required) and landscaping designs/plans
