Renovation of a military facility in Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Replace the outside east and west Makeup Air Unit (MAU) air ducts to prevent rainwater build-up and intrusion at the SRB Paint Facility (SPF) 66310 Paint Booths 1&2. Description of work: . Perform demolition of existing MAU exterior ductwork on both east and west sides of facility. Install new ductwork along same route. Slope top of duct to shed any rainwater. Adequately seal new ductwork to prevent water intrusion to facility and/or ducts. Replacement of MAU 1 and 2 air ducts shall be like for like components with aluminum material, single wall non-insulated air ducts, and shall be constructed for +2" wg. Access hatches on bottom of duct may be omitted from replacement airduct . Connection to the existing MAU shall be similar to existing. Connection to interior ductwork may be performed from either the inside of the facility envelope or outside of the exterior wall of the building. . Lightning protectionairterminalshallbeattachedtoeachductbeingreplacedandtiedintoexistinglightning protection for the building
