Renovation of an educational facility in Rocklin, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Contractor to provide all materials, equipment and labor necessary to prepare the site and install connect specified utilities for (1) 20x40 and (1) 24x60 modular office buildings (modular buildings to be supplied and installed by others). Work also includes installation and connection of a District provided generator and transfer switch. Required Contractors License(s): Bidder must be a properly licensed Class A-General Engineering to perform the work of this project with an active license in good standing as of the date of receipt of bids. License must be issued by the Contractors State License Board of California and must be maintained in good standing throughout the term of the contract. If bidder is not properly licensed to perform the project in accordance with Division 3, Chapter 9 of the Business and Professions Code such bid will be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders may not use the contractor license of a third party for this bid. Questions: Bidders shall not rely on oral statements. Oral statements will not be binding or legally effective. Questions Due Date: Jan 5th 2022, 10:00 AM PST Payment & Performance Bonds: The contractor awarded the project will be required to provide a 100% payment bond and 100% performance bond BEFORE work can begin. Bidders shall ensure all surety companies have a minimum A-rating as rated by the current edition of Bests Key Rating Guide. Only California admitted surety insurers will be accepted for the issuance of bonds. Reservation of Rights: Owner specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, or re-bid, or to waive inconsequential deviations from bid requirements not involving time, price, or quality of the work. Withdrawal of Bids: Any bid may be withdrawn, by written request signed by the bidder, at any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The bid security for a bid withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder. No bidder may withdraw any bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the opening of bids. This project consists of providing all necessary supervision, materials, and labor to install, connect and validate the installation and connection of the district supplied generator, transfer switch at the Rocklin campus near the corp yard. The work includes removal of one tree and two bushes, trenching, installation of all utilities, connections at the new modular buildings, setting new concrete slabs for both generator an automatic transfer switch providing all necessary conduits, conductors, trenching, backfilling and connections for a complete and operating system. Contractor must provide and install fencing enclosure and gate around the worksite during construction per district standard (Included). It is the intent of this solicitation for the contractor to provide a complete and fully functioning installation of the generator and transfer switch. The project also consists of all the preparatory site work including grading, paving, pavement for ramp, retaining wall installation, utility trenching and conduit installation and connection of all utilities for a fully functional set of modular units. Equipment to be provided by Global Modular: 1 each 20 X 40 modular unit and installation 1 each 24 X 60 Modular unit and installation Equipment to be provided by the district: 1 each Generac diesel generator model number: SD100 100 kW 1 each 400 amp automatic transfer switch
