**As of December 30, 2021, this project has been awarded to MSI in the amount of $31,413.85. Work consists of installation of a new generator and associated connections at the Knox County Courthouse. New generator to be a 36KW natural gas standby generator with a 100A fusible disconnect switch and a 100A automatic transfer switch. Generator grounding to be provided per NEC. Power will be required for the generator batter charger and heater. The generator shall have an extreme cold weather kit. The generator shall connect to the panelboard in the existing server room (Panel K) which is a 100A 120/208V 3ph Main Lug only panelboard. This project is a delegated design project (designed by the contractor). The contractor shall submit a full design package for review. The design package shall include: Generator submittal ATS submittal 100A fusible disconnect submittal Wiring diagram Grounding diagram Natural gas piping diagram Questions prior to bid opening shall be submitted electronically to cbasham@klingner.com. A bid bond is not required in conjunction with this project. Compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations is required, The Knox County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept other than the lowest bid, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received. Bids may be held by the Knox County for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
