Demolition, site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Galesburg, Illinois. Working plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for the construction of a transportation facility.
**Project has been Cancelled The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites Request for Proposals to replace airport maintenance building for the City of Galesburg. The right is reserved to accept any proposal or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all proposals. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The airport maintenance building located at the Galesburg Municipal Airport is in need of replacement. The City will demolish the existing building and the new building should be built on the same location. The contractor hired shall meet the following requirements: Build the new airport maintenance building using the attached architectural drawings. Use version A101. The alternate A101.1 will NOT be used for this project Provide structural engineer stamped plans for the trusses of the building Acquire any permits needed to complete the project. The cost of the permits along with any other fees the contractor may incur shall be included in the cost of the project.
