Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Boca Raton, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a museum; for site work for a museum; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project involves the construction of a multi-level, observation tower and adjoining ADA compliant ramp. The tower involves the completion of wood framing and decking on an existing wood vertical pile frame. The ramp structure will involve the construction of three vertical steel towers with connecting ramps allowing for ADA access to the tower. The new ramp and tower structure will be connected to the existing boardwalk infrastructure on the property. In addition to the ramp and tower, the project includes modifications to the parking lot access to the boardwalk to allow ADA access. This includes re-configuration of the parking lot to add two ADA compliant parking spaces and an ADA access ramp to the existing boardwalk. All applicable ancillary work and permitting is required for a complete system. Site Visit - Bidders are to park on the grass area at the site construction access location indicated on drawing A-101 (the gate is few hundred feet to the south of the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center main entrance on A 1A). (Bidders planning on attending the site visit should call Michael Dyko at (561) 416-3413 in advance to advise that they will be attending). Any questions or comments a Bidder may have during and/or because of the site visit shall not be made during the site visit but must be directed to the City in writing as detailed in Article 7 of these Instructions to Bidders.
