The City of New Port Richey, Florida is seeking competitive bids from licensed contractors to provide all construction items. This will include, and not be limited to, furnishing and installing all labor and materials for the complete construction of the 2020 Frances Avenue Park Shelter Improvements Project and a one-year warranty as shown on the project drawings. The 2020 Frances Avenue Park Shelter Improvements Project is a federally funded project, funded partially by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Land and Water Conservation Fund Program. All bidders must adhere to all of the FDEP, LWCF and Davis-Bacon Act requirements. Any questions regarding this Invitation to Bid must be e-mailed and received by 2:00 pm on January 17, 2022. All responses will be issued via e-mail no later than 5:00 pm on January 21, 2022. All e-mail correspondence shall be sent to Mr. Matthew Ivie at: (IvieM@AyresAssociates.com) Each bid must be submitted, in triplicate, on the prescribed Proposal forms and accompanied by Bid Security on the prescribed form, payable to the City of New Port Richey, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the base bid amount. The outside of the envelope must be clearly marked with the proposer's name and full address along with "ITB22-004 2020 Frances Avenue Park Shelter Improvements Project The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Contract, as prescribed in the Contract Documents. Before a Contract will be awarded for the work contemplated herein, the City of New Port Richey will conduct such investigations as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low Bidder to perform the size and scope of work specified under this Contract. The City of New Port Richey reserves the right to reject all Proposals or any Proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents, and to postpone award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not extend beyond 90 days from the Proposal opening date.
